You have had a residence permit to contract marriage in Norway after entry and you are now applying for a new permit with your spouse (2)

You have a cohabitant in Norway (3)

You have a mother or father in Norway and you are under the age of 18 years old (4)

You have a child in Norway who has been granted asylum according to § 28 or has been granted collective protection according to § 34, or you are the sibling of the child in Norway and are applying together with your parents (5)

You have a child under the age of 18 years old who is Norwegian (6)

You have a child over the age of 18 years old who lives in Norway and you are single (7)

You have a child in Norway who you wish to visit for up to 9 months (8)

You have a fiancé/fiancée in Norway and you are going to get married (9)

You have a mother and/or father in Norway and you are between the age of 18 and 21 years old and you have previously had a long stay and a residence permit in Norway (10)

You have parents in Norway who are supporting you financially and you are over the age of 18 years old (11)

You have foster parents in Norway and you are under the age of 18 years old (12)

You have a full sibling in Norway and you are under the age of 18 years old (13)

You are in a different type of situation than what is described above (14)

You are a foreigner born to parents of whom at least one was a Norwegian national at the time of your birth (15) 

Family members of EU/EEA/EFTA nationals

If you are a family member of an EU/EEA/EFTA national, you might be able to apply through a different set of regulations.
