Can I apply from Norway?

Can I work while waiting for my application to be decided?

You are not permitted to work while waiting for a decision on your application, even if you are staying in Norway while it is being processed.

If you have already held a residence permit for the past nine months in Norway that entitles you to work, you can continue working provided that you applied no later than one month before the permit expired. Read more about renewing residence permits.

Where can I get a tax deduction card?

Am I entitled to free tuition in the Norwegian language?
