The case-processing time will vary from case to case. You can find an overview over the estimated case-processing times of the different types of applications, at
www.udi.no/caseprocessingtime
If you have submitted an application and will like to know the status of your case, you can contact our
Information Service (OTS) or visit our service centre.
In order for you to get an answer about your own application, you must give your DUF-number/reference number.
NB: OTS does not respond to enquiries about asylum cases.
If you want someone else to receive information about your case, you can give him/her a written authorisation (power of attorney). With authorisation from you this person (trustee) has the same rights as you have yourself, regarding access to information concerning the case.
In addition to a written authorisation, the person (trustee) must also have your DUF-number/reference number in order to receive confidential information about your case.
