Right of residence in Norway for EU/EEA/EFTA nationals

If you are a citizen of an EU / EEA / EFTA country, you do not need to apply for a residence permit, but you must register yourself.

Registration scheme for EEA nationals
Family members of EEA nationals
Service providers and business starters who are not EEA nationals, but are affiliated with an enterprise established in an EEA country
Nordic citizens
Permanent right of residence

Citizens of Romania and Bulgaria no longer need to apply for residence permits. Instead they should now use the Registration scheme for EEA nationals. If you have not already registered through this scheme, please go to the Application Portal Norway now.
