Proposal for new Act on Immigration presented

The Government's proposal for a new Act on Immigration was presented Friday June 29. The proposal will be processed in Parliament (Storting) before the new law may be put into practice.

During a press conference the Minister for Labour and Social Inclusion, Bjarne Håkon Hanssen, and Minister for Children and Equality, Karita Bekkemellem, also presented the Governement's plan to combat Forced Marriages.
