This is first and foremost relevant for applicants from Africa south of Sahara, Afghanistan, Iraq and Yemen.
The UDI has an arrangement with some Embassies where all applicants are offered DNA-examinations:
- Addis Abeba, Ethiopia
- Nairobi, Kenya
- Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Kampala, Uganda
- Abuja, Nigeria
- Abidjan, Ivory Coast
- Islamabad, Pakistan
- Damascus, Syria
- Amman, Jordan
- Teheran, Iran
The UDI also co-operates with other embassies. The embassies in Asmara and Khartoum are examples of Norwegian embassies that often offer DNA-examinations to their applicants.
