ExpulsionDefinition of word or term
If you are expelled, you must leave Norway. You also lose the right to return to Norway (entry ban), either for a limited period or permanently. As a rule, the entry ban will also apply to the other Schengen countries.

Those who do not need a visa to visit Norway, can stay here for up to 90 days. There are additional rules you must follow.

If you have been granted an immigrant's passport, you must attend an appointment with the police. Normally, you cannot use the immigrant's passport to visit your home country.

If you have received a letter of expulsion and you are subject to an entry ban, you can appeal the decision. After you have left Norway, you can apply to have the entry ban lifted.
