Expulsion:to receive a decision from the UDI stating that you are expelled from Norway for one or more years. You will then be subject to a prohibition against entry and cannot return to Norway until the prohibition against entry has expired.
Rejection of entry: to be refused entry into Norway or to be notified by the Norwegian authorities that you have to leave Norway. A rejection is only a temporary prohibition. You can return to Norway later.
Deportation: to be escorted out of Norway by the police. If the police escort you out of Norway you must pay the costs of your deportation before you may return to Norway. You cannot be granted a residence permit if you owe money for your deportation.
