Return and repatriation
If you have received a final rejection of your application for protection and you have no other grounds for residence in Norway, you must leave the country.
If you do not return voluntarily, you can be escorted out of the country by the police when the deadline for departure has expired.
If you return voluntarily, the Norwegian authorities can help you.
If you have a residence permit and wish to return to your home country, you are eligible for repatriation support.
The Directorate of Immigration has return and reintegration programmes to certain countries and can provide grants for various projects.
