What is an entry visa (D-visa)?
The D-visa is an entry visa for spouses (and joint children under the age of 18) who wish to travel to Norway while their family immigration application is being processed, or before submitting it.
To be issued such a visa, it must be beyond doubt that your application for family immigration will be granted. For example, you must fulfil all the requirements for a family immigration permit. Even if all requirements are met, not all D-visa applications are approved.
