This new measure applies when you apply for a residence permit for work yourself and submit the application from abroad. There are no changes if the employer applies on your behalf.
When the employer or client has confirmed your job offer, they will send you a code that you must enter in a separate field in the application form. When you enter the code, the system checks that it is correct. You cannot submit the application if the code is incorrect.
Read more about what the applicant must do, and what the employer or client must do.
