Have you lost access to your account in the Application Portal?

If you no longer have access to your account, this does not affect your applications, or your residence permit.

Published: 18.09.2019

UDI still has all your old applications and information about you stored in our systems.

What do you need to do?

If you have booked an appointment, you still have this appointment. If you cannot remember when the appointment is, you should search your email inbox for emails from the address noreply-spn@udi.no or noreply@udi.no. You will then find the email from us with the appointment time. You will also find an email with a link to the checklist with the documents you should bring, and an attached cover letter which you must bring to the appointment.

If you are handing in a new application, you can use another account you still have access to, or create a new account.

If you have already gone to the police or Visa Application Centre and handed in your application documents, we will process your application as normal.

Why have you lost access to your account?

You should always try to click on “forgotten your password” and choose a new password, to check if this solves the problem. If your account does not exist anymore, you will get a message which says that no account is registered with this email address.

There might be different reasons why you have lost access to your account.

  • If you have not been logged into your account for over two years, we have deleted your account.
  • If you previously had many accounts registered to the same email address, all your accounts will now have been deleted except one. Summer of 2019 we sent information and reminders to all registered email addresses.
  • If you no longer have access to the email address you used to create your account, you will not be able to access this account.
