In 2022, UDI was instructed to refuse applications from people who had another valid residence permit in Norway. This instruction was revoked following the Supreme Court decision. The Supreme Court has decided that we can no longer take into account whether you have other residence permits when assessing whether you are entitled to individual protection.
What does this mean for you?
