How will it impact my permit if the Norwegian authorities decide to end the collective protection scheme?e?

The collective protection scheme may end.

 

If the collective protection scheme ends, you can still stay in Norway on the residence permit you have been granted until it expires.

 

If you are granted collective protection, your application for individual protection will be put on hold and not processed as long as the collective protection scheme applies. If you no longer receive collective protection, or when the collective protection scheme ends, you will have the opportunity to request an assessment of protection on an individual basis. When this becomes applicable, you will receive information on how to proceed with the request. You will then also be given a deadline to notify that you want an individual assessment of protection.
