What happens if I travel to my home country with an immigrant's passport?

You risk being stopped at the border and denied entry.
If UDI is notified that you have used your immigrant's passport in your home country, we will normally revoke your immigrant's passport, and you will not be issued a new one.
You will not be granted a new immigrant's passport if you apply for one. This is because the Norwegian authorities believe that if you visit your home country, it should also be possible for you to obtain a passport from this country.
