What happens if I travel to my home country with a refugee travel document?

You risk being stopped at the border and denied entry.
If UDI is notified that you have used your travel document in your home country, we will revoke your travel document.
If you visit your home country, this could be taken by the Norwegian authorities as an indication that you no longer need protection in Norway. UDI will therefore consider whether to revoke your refugee status and the rights that this status confers.
