Summary
All EMN Member States have previously published reports describing the organisation of their asylum and migration policies. In the context of an update to these reports in other countries, Norway, as a new EMN Associate Member, has compiled an overview over Norwegian asylum and migration policies.
It is aimed at a non-specialist readership looking for a brief overview of the Norwegian system.
The report describes the different ministries and agencies involved in policymaking and implementation, as well as the legal framework set out by the 2010 Immigration Act.
