Hand in the application and documents in person

When handing in your documents from the checklist, please go to the VFS Application Centre in Buenos Aires, Argentina (external website, opens in new window).

VFS will send your application to the Norwegian Consulate General in New York, USA. The Consulate General will check your original documents. Your application will be forwarded electronically from New York to UDI.

The Visa Centre where you submitted the application (VFS) will return your passport after the Consulate General has completed its inspection. You will receive your other original documents back from VFS when UDI has finished processing your application.

You can also choose to go to one of the following Visa Application Centres:

• VFS Application Centre in Bogotá, Colombia (external website, opens in new window).
• VFS Norway Visa Application Centre in Rio de Janeiro or Brasilia.(external website, opens in new window)
• VFS Application Centre in Santiago, Chile (external website, opens in new window).
