The answer is sent to the registered address in the National registry
The answer to your request for a copy or confirmation will always be sent to the address registered in the National registry for the person the document concerns, or the digital mailbox this person has (Digipost).
If you request a copy or confirmation on behalf of someone else, you must submit an authorisation if you want us to send it somewhere else. See how you fill in an authorisation.
When will you receive an answer?
You will receive the confirmation or copy you have requested in the course of five weeks.
If your case is very old, we will have to get the documents from the police or the National Archives. This may mean you will have to wait some more weeks for an answer.
