Am I in the AMMR procedure?
If you have been in a European country that is part of the AMMR cooperation, your asylum case will be handled under the AMMR procedure. In that case, you will either be notified when you register with the police or receive a letter from us.
When will I be informed about which country will consider my asylum application?
If you are in the AMMR procedure, we will need about four months to decide which country is responsible for considering your asylum application. Some cases may also take longer.
Where will I live?
If your case is in the AMMR procedure, you will normally stay in a transit reception centre. If you are moved to an ordinary reception centre, it is because we need more time to find out which country is responsible for your asylum case.
