What should do if I do not want the application to be processed individually?
If you do not want UDI to process the application individually, you must withdraw your application.
If your application is rejected, or if you choose to withdraw it and you do not have valid residence in Norway on other grounds, you are generally obliged to leave. That means you have to travel out of the country.
You can still stay in Norway if
• you have another valid residence permit in Norway
• you are waiting for a response to another application for a residence permit in Norway
• you have stayed in Schengen for less than 90 days
To withdraw your application for protection, you must do the following:
- Complete the form (external website)
- Sign the form
- Scan or take a photo of the completed and signed form
- Send the form as an email attachment to pu@politiet.no
After you have sent the form, the police will contact you.
