No new rules have been introduced for Ukrainian citizens with collective protection in Norway
The Norwegian Government is proposing that Ukrainians with temporary collective protection who are working in Norway should be able to apply for a residence permit on the basis of work. There will be several requirements for obtaining such a residence permit, including that they earn enough to support themselves and their family and that they are already in Norway. No decision has been made yet.
When a proposal is sent out for consultation, this means that the Government is asking for input from, among others, other public authorities and organisations. It does not mean that the proposal has been adopted, and the proposal may be changed.
