Residence permit for witnesses in human trafficking cases
If you have given testimony as an injured party in a court case concerning human trafficking, or if you are a victim of human trafficking who has given a statement to the court or the police in criminal proceedings, you may apply for a residence permit (protection) as a witness in a human trafficking case.
You must apply for protection with the police. You can read more about applying for protection in Norway here.
You are not required to pay an application fee.
Accompanying children
- If you are granted a residence permit, children applying together with you will have their cases assessed individually.
- You are not required to pay an application fee when applying for your child.
