Fraudulent work offers

The Norwegian immigration authorities have recently seen an increase in scams targeting individuals applying for temporary work permits in Norway. Scammers falsely claim they can secure jobs, often demanding payment in exchange for fraudulent work offers. You will find more information about fraudulent work offers here. 

Skilled workers

  • You have completed higher education, for example as an engineer or a nurse, or
  • you have completed vocational training, for example as a carpenter or health worker

You have received a job offer, or you have your own business.

Seasonal workers

You plan to work as a holiday stand-in or carry out seasonal work in forestry, agriculture, the fish processing industry, the restaurant industry or the tourism industry.
