We expect you to

• provide us with your correct identity and help to ensure that we receive sufficient and correct information
• ensure that UDI receives all the documents necessary to process your case
• use our website udi.no to find information that applies to your situation
• inform us if your situation changes in a way that may have a bearing on your case, or if you change your email address or mobile number.
• notify the National Population Register (Folkeregisteret) if you move (external website) (if you are an asylum seeker and waiting for a decision, you must notify the police that you are moving)
• have your complete name written on your postbox so that our letters reach you
• inform the UDI in writing if you want another person to have power of attorney in your case, so that he or she can follow up on your case and get a copy of the decision
