My appeal has been rejected by UNE


If you are over the age of 18, you are entitled to

  • Emergency care and healthcare that is absolutely essential and cannot wait.
  • If you are pregnant, you are entitled to care during pregnancy and postnatal care or, if relefant, to an abortion.
  • Treatment if you have an infectious disease that poses a risk to others.
  • Vaccination if you are at risk of being infected with an infectious disease that poses a risk to others.

How to contact a doctor

Contact a doctor or the emergency and accident department in the place where you live if you are in need of emergency healthcare or healthcare that is absolutely essential and cannot wait.

If you are a child under the age of 18, you are entitled to

  • You are entitled to the same health and care services as all children who live in Norway, for example doctor's appointments, hospital treatment or public health nurse services, vaccinations and some types of medicine.
  • You cannot be registered with a regular GP (fastlege). 

How to contact a doctor

  • If you are in need of healthcare, contact a doctor or the emergency and accident department in the place where you live. You can ask the staff at the asylum reception centre to help you to make an appointment.
