What is a permanent residence permit and a permanent right to reside?

You can live and work in Norway with a permanent residence permit or a permanent right to reside.

You can apply for a permanent residence permit if you are not an EU/EEA national or a family member of an EU/EEA national. If you are an EU/EEA national, you and your family members can apply for a permanent right to reside.
