This applies to people who have been granted a limited residence permits in Norway because of uncertainty regarding applicant identity or due to inadequate documentation.

Requirements for renewal of a residence permit

• To have a temporary residence permit renewed, the conditions for the initial residence permit must still be met.
• You must submit the documents that UDI asked you to provide when you were granted your residence permit.
• You must pay an application fee.
